Kim Chiu has this answer when asked about Xian Lim’s network transfer
Actress-host Kim Chiu was asked about the decision of her boyfriend actor-host Xian Lim to transfer to GMA-7 after more than a decade of being a Kapamilya.
Xian has officially signed a contract with the Kapuso network last August of this year. He was offered to do a series with Jennylyn Mercado but it was temporarily shelved because the actress got pregnant.
Because of that, the False Positive TV series project was given to him and he is paired with Glaiza de Castro. Regarding the network transfer of Xian Lim, Kim Chiu said that they have been very supportive of each other’s careers.
Based on the article in PEP, during a recent interview for her new movie, the Chinita Princess said that as of now, Xian has no offer from ABS-CBN and so he would be where there is work.
“Napag-usapan namin na kung maghihintay siya, sabi niya, ‘Saan ako?’ So, parang thankful din siya sa GMA na binigyan siya ng maraming projects doon. So, kung saan may trabaho, doon siya,” Kim Chiu shared.
She also stressed that she and Xian are just apart because of work and their relationship is still going strong. The It’s Showtime host added that it is a good thing they would be apart for a month so that they will miss each other after the lock-in taping.
The celebrity couple is planning to venture into producing films in the future. Xian Lim has started his directorial stints already. “Napapagkuwentuhan po namin ni Xian na, yun nga, mag-produce ng movie. Pero hanggang kuwento pa lang po. Tingnan natin,” Kim Chiu said.
Meanwhile, Kim also answered in a recent interview the issue that was thrown against her and former Kapamilya star Bea Alonzo. This was regarding the viral video that she posted showing that a photo of a celebrity was removed from the ABS-CBN lobby.
