What is the new show of Xian Lim in Kapuso network?
Actor-host Xian Lim is set to do a new show in the Kapuso network after his Love. Die. Repeat series with Jennylyn Mercado was temporarily shelved.
This year, Xian is just one of the former Kapamilya stars who transferred to GMA-7. For his first project, he was supposed to do a series with Jennylyn and they already started the lock-in taping.
However, it was reported that the taping and immediately ended due to the medical emergency that Jennylyn went through. It was later on revealed that she is pregnant with her longtime partner Dennis Trillo and the couple has also announced that they are getting married.
Despite that unexpected delay, GMA promised Xian Lim that he will be given a show while he is waiting for the time when Jennylyn Mercado will be able to do the taping again.
Based on the article by entertainment columnist Nitz Miralles in Pang Masa, the actor-host will do a romantic mini-series with the title False Positive. His leading lady will be Glaiza de Castro. Reportedly, the quarantine of the whole cast of the new series will start this last week of November 2021.
Meanwhile, Xian Lim went viral just recently and it is because of his TikTok video with Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto. Although the two celebrities were enjoying their dance cover in the video, that was not the primary thing that netizens noticed.
It was because Xian is the current boyfriend of Kim Chiu who was one of the ex-girlfriends of Gerald Anderson who is now in a relationship with Julia. Apparently, that fact amused netizens and so the video went viral.
