Palawan National School on Reported P10 Student Contribution “PNS SPTA has no participation in the planning, approval, implementation, or collection“
Palawan National School has released an official statement on reported P10 contribution from students for floor repair.
PNS has issued an official statement regarding reports that Senior High School students were being asked to contribute P10 each for the repair of flooring in two school buildings.
The issue gained attention online after reports circulated claiming that students would be asked to provide a small contribution to help purchase construction materials needed for the repair of damaged floors.

The reported collection immediately raised discussion among parents, students, and members of the community.
Recently, the Palawan National School School Parents-Teachers Association (PNS SPTA) released a statement to clarify its position on the matter. According to the organization, its executive officers were not consulted, approached, or involved in any discussions regarding the reported collection of P10 contributions from students.
The association further explained that it has no participation in the planning, approval, implementation, or collection of the reported initiative. The clarification was issued to address concerns and provide accurate information to parents and the public following the spread of the reports on social media.

Despite not being involved in the proposed contribution drive, the PNS SPTA emphasized its commitment to working closely with school authorities on programs and projects that are lawful, transparent, and focused on the welfare and safety of students.
The association also encouraged parents, guardians, and community members to rely only on official announcements from the school administration and the PNS SPTA when seeking information about school-related activities and projects.
