Pia Wurtzbach Shows Support For Fast-Food Restaurant Jollibee Amid ‘Fried Towel’ Issue
PIA WURTZBACH – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach trended on social media after showing suport for Jollibee amid ‘fried towel’ issue.
It can be recalled that the Philippine fast-food chain Jollibee trended on all social media platforms due to a customer’s complain. The woman ordered a crispy fried chicken but she received a ‘fried towel’ instead.
The woman shared some videos and photos of the ‘fried towel’ on her Facebook account then approach Raffy Tulfo on his show in hopes of resolving the issue. The company promptly took action and ordered a 3-day shutdown on their BGC branch.
Days after Jollibee Food Corps. issued an official statement regarding the ‘fried towel’ incident, their company is now gaining more support from netizens and celebrities Aga Muhlach and Anne Curtis. They aired their support for the fast-food chain on social media.
Recently, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach uploaded a throwback and recent photo of her with Jollibee’s official mascot. She’s one of the celebrity endorsers of the company since 2020.

Pia Wurtzbach showed her followers that loyalty is all about staying put no matter the circumstances. She opted to show her support to the company by sharing a photo of young Pia celebrating her birthday in Cagayan de Oro. It was presumably being catered by Jollibee.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “One Jolli girl mula pagkabata hanggang ngayon. Swipe left!”
