Trending online is the emotional comeback of Vhong Navarro and this is what he said about it.
VHONG NAVARRO – Kapamilya star Vhong Navarro officially comes back to Its Showtime and here’s his post about his trending comeback.
In a previous article, the main host Vice Ganda’s statement about someone coming back to their noontime show ignited speculations. Many people speculated that it is Vhong Navarro’s comeback to the show as he has not been there since September. He was incarcerated for months because of the cases filed by Deniece Cornejo.
And this Monday, January 16, the Kapamilya host made an emotional comeback. He shared his experience while in detention and expressed that during those dark times, he relied on hope and faith.
Vice led in welcoming him back to the noontime show. The other hosts sang “I’ll Be There” by The Moffatts.
“Ang sarap ng pagtanggap niyo sa akin. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko kayo pasasalamatan, sa mga taong nagdasal, nagtiwala at hindi ako iniwan,” Vhong said.
He added that while he was detained, he purposely did not watch the show because he would miss his co-hosts.
“Pero mabait ang Panginoon, talagang hindi Niya ako pinabayaan kaya nandito ako ulit. Kaya maraming salamat sa ABS-CBN dahil mayroon akong trabaho at nandito pa rin ang pamilya ko,” he added.
To recall, Vhong got his temporary freedom last December after the Taguig Regional Trial Court granted his petition for bail. He posted Php 1 million.
In a new Instagram post, he gushed about his comeback and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the Showtime people. He wrote, “Thank you my showtime family! Thank you, God for making this happen. Na-miss ko kayo, Madlang Pips!”
