Atty. Harry Roque Posts Anew amid Rumored Arrest of Sen. Bato dela Rosa
HARRY ROQUE – Duterte’s former Spokesman recently made another cryptic post amid the rumored arrest of Senator Bato dela Rosa.
Recently, rumors that Sen. Bato dela Rosa was allegedly arrested crossed the surface. Amid the rumors, Atty. Israelito Torreon claimed that he does not know the current whereabouts of Sen. Bato dela Rosa. The lawyer believes that there is a huge chance that his client is still in the Philippines.

According to Atty. Torreon, Dela Rosa is willing to face any case that is filed before a Philippine Court. The Senator is reportedly faced with an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) which currently has the custody of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Duterte is detained under the custody of the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands for more than a year now. Dela Rosa who was the first Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief during his term is tagged as an alleged co-perpetrator in the controversial war on drugs campaign of the former President.

Amid the possibility of the ICC arresting him, too, Sen. Bato dela Rosa has changed stance multiple times. There were instances when he expressed willingness to join Duterte in The Hague while there were also times when he admitted the possibility of hiding.
In November 2025, Dela Rosa reportedly started ‘hiding’ after Ombudsman Boying Remulla claimed that the ICC has released an arrest warrant. Harry Roque, the former spokesman of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, has also previously claimed on the release of the ICC arrest warrant against the Senator.

Harry Roque is also in The Hague, Netherlands. He fled from the Philippines amid the controversial probe on his alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the country.
The House of Representatives issued an arrest order against Roque. Amid his stay in The Hague, the Philippine Court has issued an arrest warrant against the former spokesman of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte but he has already applied for an asylum abroad during that time.

Recently, amid the rumors that the former PNP Chief turned Senator was allegedly arrested, Harry Roque claimed that someone allegedly betrayed Sen. Bato dela Rosa. He did not state a name.
Atty. Jimmy Bondoc who is also an ally of the Dutertes claimed that “bad news is coming” amid the rumors on the alleged arrest of the Senator. Recently, Harry Roque made another cryptic post on social media about the Senator.
“Buti na lang magaling si Bato! Hwag ka talagang pahuli sa kanila!” Roque wrote.
Currently, there are still no confirmation to the rumors about the alleged arrest of the Senator. Previously, amid the criticisms, Sen. Robin Padilla maintained that he allegedly did not help Sen. Bato dela Rosa escape.
