IDOL PHILIPPINES – The reality singing competition Idol Philippine is rumored to be scripted but here’s the take of judge Moira Dela Torre about this.
The Kapamilya reality singing show is for those aspiring singers who wish to be an “Idol” and showcase their talent to the whole country and to the whole world. The four judges are James Reid, Moira Dela Torre, Regine Velasquez, and Vice Ganda hosted by Billy Crawford.
In a previous report based on previous episodes of the show, it can be remembered that there had been a momentary tension between the two female judges because of this one hopeful of whom according to the Songbird was not her natural voice as she was just making a sound because the particular style is current and a trend. But all is well between them as they have given the auditionee a chance to improve her craft and to express her real self.
And now, with the continuing search for the next “Idol”, Dela Torre expressed, “Ang dami po kasi nila na magaling, actually lahat sila magaling to the point na hirap na hirap kaming lahat.”
She also stressed that whatever seen on television is true and not based on a certain script. The singer also clarified the rumors if the “sagutan ” was scripted, “Totoo naman po, (scripted?) hindi. Totoo po ‘yun. Kasi sunod-sunod sila , hindi ko nga alam na sunod-sunod din ba pinakita ‘yung audition, tapos hindi ko alam na ako din ‘yung influence nila, so noong pang tatlo na, nagtago na ako (beside James Reid) alam ko na sasabihin niya (Regine Velasquez), but after every taping, we’re so light and masaya po kami sa set.”
Meanwhile, aside from the Idol Philippines, she is also preparing for a concert and an album launch that is, according to PUSH, is all happening this year.
