Video of Jaywalker Wearing Earphones Gets Hit by Motorcycle Elicits Reactions Online
ROAD ACCIDENT – An irresponsible jaywalker wearing earphones while crossing the road gets hit by a motorcycle.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists violating the traffic policy.
The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared video footage of a jaywalker who crossed the road in an inappropriate lane accidentally hit by a motorcycle rider. The video garnered various reactions from netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that several vehicles were slowly driving along the road due to the moderate traffic in the area. Some motorcycle rides have started to filter and make ‘singit’ in between four-wheeled vehicles.
After a few moments, an irresponsible pedestrian wearing earphones attempted to cross the road. Unfortunately, a motorcycle rider accidentally hit the jaywalker who did not use the pedestrian lane.
The rider also hit the car beside him due to the incident. The motorist seems to be fine but the jaywalker suffered wounds in his arm.
The video has a caption:
“This happened this morning habang papasok ako sa work. Si kuya po ay tumawid sa hindi tawiran at nahagip sya ng motor. Ang masama naka-headset pa po sya at nakatakip sa tenga nya. Okay naman yung motor at kotse, di masyadong malaki ang tama. Pero si kuya nakita ko na malaki ang sugat sa braso at ilka-ika po sya.”
