Xander Ford shared his recent encounter with Bimby Aquino
Eat Bulaga guest host Bimby Aquino apologized to social media personality Xander Ford because of a past incident.
Xander appeared as a guest on the longest-running noontime show where Bimby was serving as a guest host.
In a Facebook video shared by Xander, he recounted his experience upon seeing Kris Aquino’s youngest son, based on the article in Bandera. He also shared that Bimby approached and spoke to him.
Xander immediately noticed how well the Queen of all Media had raised Bimby Aquino, as the boy was polite and kind to people. He said that the young host does not discriminate regarding whom he speaks to. Xander noticed that Bimby is friendly to everyone.
“Itong batang ‘to, pinalaki ng mommy niya nang maayos. Napaka-humble. Napakabait, grabe. Halos nasa hallway siya para kausapin lahat ng tao,” the social media personality said.
He was also surprised by Bimby’s sudden apology. “At humingi siya ng tawad sa akin noong 2018 na nag-viral [ang interview ng mommy niya tungkol sa akin],” Xander shared.
In the video, Bimby Aquino can be seen calling him to ask how life as a content creator is going. In the middle of their conversation, Bimby asked him, “Naalala mo ‘yong meme ni Mama?”
He was referring to the interview that his mother had that went viral a few years ago. Kris was asked for her reaction to Xander’s cosmetic transformation.
When the photos were shown to her, the TV host’s reaction went viral because she did not immediately recognize the content creator. “Anong ginawa? Hindi ko ma-get. Anong difference? Sorry. Explain,” Kris said.
Despite the incident that went viral back then, she holds no grudge against Kris. “‘Sabi ko, ayos lang kasi sino ba naman ako? Isa lang akong simpleng tao. At mas ikinagulat ko na kilala niya [Bimby] ako,” Xander said.
