TONI GONZAGA – Multimedia star Toni Gonzaga receives these reactions from several famous personalities over her Bongbong Marcos vlog.

Bongbong Marcos has guested in Toni Talks previously and the interview with Toni Gonzaga has heavily earned criticisms. His father, the late president Ferdinand Marcos, was a dictator and has put the whole country under his control for many years. The era of Martial Law was one of the darkest histories of the Philippines.

Many people did not like how the interview went on but there were those who believed that the female host was just being neutral because she was also able to interview Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Grace Poe prior.

Award-winning writer Ricky Lee said that what has happened shouldn’t be forgotten. He was among the people who got jailed during the Martial Law. Amid his frustrations, he expressed, “I don’t want to blame them, e. Bilang writer, trabaho kong tumulong na makita. Pero we should not blame people for being blind. It’s not the blind people that we should blame, it’s the people who blind them that we should blame.”

Ateneo Martial Law Museum also reacted to this and offered Toni some people who are victims of the Martial Law, that she can interview. It’s an invitation from them to also interview the victims.

Cristy Fermin, on the other hand, believes that it is Toni’s right to choose anyone she would like to interview.

As For Ogie Diaz, bashing the host is not. He expressed his stand saying that instead of bashing her, they should make ways to recall the history and what has transpired in the past.

Governor Chiz Escudero also believes that Toni has the freedom to pick the people she wants to talk to because it’s her platform. Viewers, on the other hand, have the freedom as well whether to watch it or not.

Bianca Gonzalez, her close friend, said that she reached out to her privately because that’s how she should do it as her friend. However, she’s still firm over her stand about the matter – #NeverForget and #NeverAgain.
