Toni Gonzaga Became Emotional in Interview W/ VP Leni Robredo
TONI GONZAGA – Filipina actress and tv host Toni Gonzaga became emotional in her interview with Vice President Leni Robredo.
‘Ultimate Multimedia Star’ Toni Gonzaga is a famous actress, producer, and tv host in the Philippines. She’s married to film director Paul Soriano. They have a 4-year-old son named Seve.
Toni has been in the entertainment industry for over 2 decades now. She’s been more visible on the video-sharing platform Youtube in recent months. As of writing, her Youtube channel Celestine Gonzaga-Soriana has over 3.98 million subscribers.
Toni Gonzaga featured Vice President Leni Robredo on her channel recently. They talked about the death of her husband, former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary Jesse Robredo back in 2012. The small plane carrying Jesse was on his way home to Naga from a conference in Cebu, crashed into the water of Masbate.
According to the politician, she and her children were not able to properly grieve over Jesse’s death due to the publicity surrounding their family. She shared that she has not been able to remove his clothes from their closet.

VP Leni Robredo revealed that ironically, she lost her fear of flying in planes after Jesse died in a plane crash. She added that she misses him all the time saying that her husband rarely went out with his friends and was always spending time with her and their children. She also recalled that her husband gave her special massages whenever the pain from her migraines became unbearable.
The 56-year-old politician said that the pain of losing him has not gone away but has learned to live with it. Toni was visibly emotional talking about Leni’s loss.

Toni Gonzaga recently opened up about the “hardest year” as a married woman. She said throughout their marriage, the first year was the most difficult.
