Now, talking about the comeback of the actor, he will return in the big screen through “Servando Magdamag” of Ricky Lee and Lav Diaz, an independent film. It was accordingly last December 2019 when they have started the production.

Lee shared that it was during Lav’s freshman year when he read his short story “Servando Magdamag” and unlike his classmates, despite the depth of the story, he never gave up on it and kept on reading it. Lav loved the story and ever since wanted to make a movie adaptation of it.

The premise of the story as per love is about the history of Filipino violence in the country. Ricky shared, “Si John Lloyd plays Servando Sais kasi pamilya nila mga lahing kastila na mga haciendero.”
