Chiz Escudero shared his reaction to the viral interview of Toni Gonzaga

Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero has this reaction to the viral interview that actress-host Toni Gonzaga did with former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

As the latest on her Toni Talks vlog, the actress-host has been inviting prominent politicians to be her guests on her YouTube channel. Toni has already interviewed Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Grace Poe, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, DPWH Sec. Mark Villar, Representative Loren Legarda, and Chel Diokno.

Her recent interview with the son of former President Ferdinand Marcos became the most controversial. It is because she received bashing from human rights groups and individuals who have been condemning the former Chief Executive who declared the Martial Law.

Netizens have been posting the hashtags “Never Again” and “Never Forget” as their fight against the alleged “historical revisionism” that the interview of Toni did.

On the other hand, there were also prominent personalities in the Philippines who defended Toni Gonzaga such as Ogie Diaz and Cristy Fermin.

Just recently, Chiz Escudero expressed also his reaction to the viral interview. Through his Twitter post, the Sorsogon Governor said that it is the right of Toni Gonzaga to decide who she wants to interview on her YouTube channel.

The politician added that it is the same thing as the right of the people to watch it or not. He also used the hashtag “My channel, my right”.
