Popular stars and personalities reactions as the COVID-19 Philippines logged 7,103 cases in a day.

COVID-19 PHILIPPINES – Famous celebrities and personalities have these reactions to 7,103 daily records of COVID-19 cases in the country on Friday, March 19.

To the shock of many Filipinos, the surge of infected cases to a total of 648,066 after a 7,103 daily log of new COVID-19 infections, caused fear. The worrisome number has earned a lot of comments from the people as this is the highest daily tally ever since the pandemic started over a year ago. The number of deaths also dramatically increased and the issues about the vaccine emerged.

The medical community also expressed alarm and people online posted their sentiments of uneasiness, anger, and frustration. Some medical workers online foresee that if this continues, the healthcare system of the country will eventually collapse. The former consultant of the National Task Force against COVID-19 Tony Leachon called out the government to immediately impose stricter lockdowns anew to reduce transmission and prevent other worse situations this may cause to the country and the people. As much as we are all aware, several hospitals announced that they are full with COVID and non-COVID cases already.
