Jane Oineza shared her dream project
Kapamilya actress Jane Oineza, widely recognized as a top dramatic actress of her generation, revealed that she wants to branch out into full-scale action films and comedy.
Jane is known as a versatile and award-winning Filipino actress, singer, and commercial model who has transitioned from a prominent child star into one of her generation’s leading dramatic actresses.
With over two decades in the entertainment industry, she is widely recognized for her emotional depth and her fearlessness in taking on complex, challenging roles.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Jane Oineza shared that she wanted to explore the action genre.
While she has done minor stunts before, the actress expressed a strong desire to lead a dedicated action project alongside a future romantic comedy.
“Kasi ‘yung last kong series nagkaroon kami ng mga iilang action scenes. Sabi ko after noon, gusto ko more pa. Gusto ko mag-dive deep sa more action pa. And then nagkaroon ako ng next na action-action, pero hindi pa rin siya ‘yung full blast na talagang all-out, all-in action. So ‘yun ang gusto ko,” Jane shared.
In contrast to her many dramatic roles, the Kapamilya actress said that she wants to star in a romantic comedy project. “Kasi parang ‘Goin’ Bulilit pa yata or ‘yung ‘Shake’ (Rattle & Roll) ‘yung last ko na medyo comedy/horror,” Jane shared.
The actress also mentioned the stars she wanted to work with in the future, and they are John Lloyd Cruz, Jericho Rosales, Judy Ann Santos, and the one and only Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.
Jane Oineza is one of the stars of the Kapamilya primetime series Love Is Never Gone, featuring the tandem of Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi. This served as a reunion project for Jane and Joshua. Their last project together was in the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
