Netizens Took Pity to a Poor Resident who Died After Not Receiving SAP Cash Aid
A poor resident passes away allegedly not receiving social amelioration cash aid because he is not a resident of the city.
Most Filipino people currently rely on relief goods and social amelioration cash assistance being given by the Philippine government amid the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine.
The lockdown protocols affect numerous business establishments in the country and the livelihood of thousands of Filipino people. Most of our countrymen are now struggling on where to get food.
On Thursday (April 30, 2020), the Facebook page “Solid Mayor Isko Supporters” has shared the photos of a poor resident who takes his own life for not receiving the financial aid from the government. The photos garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen that the poor ended his life using a cable wire. The authorities and some residents even tried to rescue the resident but it was too late to save him. The man was last spotted at a drinking session.
According to the post, the Municipality of Tagoloan Misamis Oriental allegedly refused to include the name of the guy on the list of SAP cash beneficiaries because the man is a resident of Camiguin. The unidentified man is just renting a house in the city.
The online community expressed their reactions regarding what happened to the disappointed man.
