Awra Briguela Rushes Self To ER and Was Diagnosed With This Condition

This is why Awra Briguela was hospitalized.

Actor-social media influencer Awra Briguela was rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe and concerning symptoms.

Former child star Awra Briguela experienced harrowing symptoms that prompted her to rush herself to the hospital. According to her, she felt like she needed immediate hospital care after experiencing severe stomach pain and persistent vomiting.

According to Awra, she was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis and was also dehydrated. Gastroenteritis is an inflammation that spreads from the stomach to the intestines, causing pain.

“Tinakbo ko sarili ko sa emergency room kasi nagising ako na sobrang sakit ng tiyan ko and I kept vomiting yellow bile. It was around 8:30 a.m., and tiniis ko pa hanggang 10 a.m., pero hindi ko na talaga kinaya kasi halos isang oras na akong nasa CR, tuloy-tuloy yung pagsusuka ng yellow acid,” she wrote.

She felt like she was about to pass out due to the extreme pain and repeated vomiting. After experiencing the severe symptoms for some hours, she finally decided to rush herself to the emergency room of a hospital. After several lab tests, she received the diagnosis.

Awra recalled that in the past days, she had been consuming black Americanos with minimal water intake.

She wrote, “After doing lab tests and everything, the final diagnosis is acute gastroenteritis with mild to moderate dehydration—probably from not eating properly these past few days (puro black Americano lang) and kulang sa water.”

The actor is now resting and recovering at home, assuring the public that she is fine now, needs rest, will improve her eating habits, and will take her prescribed medications.
