Man Juggling Three Jobs in Single Day Earns Admiration From Netizens
A man goes viral online and earns admiration from netizens for juggling three jobs (Security guard, delivery guy, and motorcycle taxi rider.
A hardworking man identified as Gerry Palima has become an internet sensation for managing three jobs in a single day. His story of hard work and dedication has earned him widespread admiration.
Palima has been working as a security guard at various 7-Eleven stores since 2003. Currently, he is stationed at a branch near Camp Crame in Quezon City. Alongside his security job, he also took on roles as a delivery rider. He began working with Foodpanda in 2020 and joined Move It as a rider last year.
The guy starts his day as a Move It rider at 6 a.m., continues with deliveries from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then works as a security guard until 10 p.m. Despite the long hours, Palima finds his motivation in his three sons. Having been their sole guardian for nearly 20 years, he pours all his effort into supporting them.
“Ang inspirasyon ko ay ang mga anak ko na lang. Kasi wala na akong asawa, mag-20 years na nasa akin lahat ‘yung 3 kong anak na lalaki. Kaya ginugol ko na lang sa pagtatrabaho ‘yung panahon ko,” Palima said.
Palima’s multiple jobs help him meet his family’s needs. He uses his earnings to cover daily expenses, and pay for his motorcycle, his house, electricity, and other bills. While managing so many responsibilities is challenging, he finds that the financial stability it brings is worth the effort.
“Marami kasi akong binabayaran like hulog sa motor, bayad sa bahay, gastusin sa araw-araw, Pero kaya ko kasi okay din naman kita ko,” he said.
The latter also shares his advice with others, encouraging them to consider taking on additional work if they can. By taking multiple jobs, people can avoid financial problems and ensure a more secure future.
