Man Allegedly Molests 8-Year-Old Girl Inside House He Robbed
A 25-year-old man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a house and molesting an eight-year-old girl in Pasig City.
According to local authorities, the suspect entered a residential property in Barangay Pinagbuhatan and stole a cellphone. However, the incident became even more disturbing when he allegedly approached a young girl who was inside the house at the time.
Barangay officials said the suspect allegedly touched the child inappropriately. The girl reportedly resisted and struggled to get away from him.
“Nakita niya yung cellphone, kinuha niya, and then mayroon pong isang batang babae roon, nilapitan niya. Hinawakan niya sa maseselang bahagi ng katawan, pinagsamantalahan yung bata. Yung bata po pilit na nagpupumiglas, habang yapos-yapos nung suspek,” Kagawad Arcie Lucas of Barangay Pinagbuhatan Peace and Order said.
Despite the traumatic experience, the child was able to immediately tell her parents what had happened. Her report prompted residents, barangay personnel, and police officers to take action.
A search operation was launched, leading to the suspect’s arrest in a nearby alley not far from the house where the incident took place.

Authorities recovered the stolen cellphone from the suspect. Investigators were surprised to discover that he had already taken a selfie using the device and had reportedly set the photo as its wallpaper.
During the arrest, law enforcers also recovered a sachet containing a substance suspected to be illegal drugs. The evidence was turned over to investigators for proper examination.
Police said the suspect admitted to his actions during questioning. Further background checks also revealed that he had previously been imprisoned for theft and drug-related offenses and was only released in September 2025.
“Nahipuan ko sir. Nahipuan ko yung pwetan niya po. Hinawakan ko yung pwetan para mahiga po siya. Hiniga ko,” the suspect said.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Pasig City Police Station. He is expected to face charges for theft, acts of lasciviousness, and violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
The victim’s family has chosen not to speak publicly about the incident.
