Here’s TAPE’s Reaction To TVJ’s TV5 Move
TAPE – Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) reacted to Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon’s TV5 move.
The main hosts of “Eat Bulaga” Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon have departed the TV production company Television and Production Exponent (Tape) Inc. The other hosts of the longest-running noontime show sent their resignation letters after they made their declaration.
Numerous people, including prominent celebrities, have been saddened by this. The 44-year run of this program was intended to finish in 2024, according to the contract, however, due to problems, things didn’t go as planned.
Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, and the Dabarkads are now Kapatids. According to a statement made yesterday by TV5’s MediaQuest Holdings Inc, the hosts have a contract in place to create programming for TV5 and other MediaQuest platforms.
In a previous article, TAPE hopes that the public can give the new EB a chance. During his appearance with CNN Philippines’ “The Source,” Bullet Jalosjos, the chief financial officer of TAPE, urged the program’s bashers to watch so they could see what the show has to offer.
“For all the bashers, sana naman po bigyan n’yo naman po ng pagkakataon ang mga talents namin na ipakita naman po, mapasaya ang mga taong-bayan during this time…”
“Wala po kaming hangarin kung hindi magbigay saya sa ating mga taong-bayan at manonood,” he added.
Comedians Paolo Contis, Betong Sumaya, and Buboy Villar are currently the show’s new hosts. The twins of Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel, Cassy and Mavy, as well as Alexa Miro, the alleged girlfriend of Sandro Marcos serve as the show’s new hosts.
Bullet Jalosjos also reacted to TVJ’s move to TV5. He said, “If the people want to watch the old TVJ then they can always look into that channel, pero kung gusto nilang makakita ng mas bago, mas masaya, mas energetic, new faces, they can go back to EB.”
