Ruru Madrid talked about working with Dennis Trillo
Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid revealed that he and drama actor Dennis Trillo are not talking to each other on the set of Green Bones.
The said movie is part of the 50th anniversary of the Metro Manila Film Festival. Ruru and Dennis are the lead stars of this film which is directed by Zig Dulay. The movie revolves around the life of Domingo Zamora, played by Dennis, who was incarcerated for murdering his sister.
Ruru gives life to the character of a warden who is having second thoughts about Domingo’s personality and what he might do.

In a recent interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Ruru Madrid shared that he and Dennis Trillo were not having conversations on the set of their movie.
However, Ruru explained that it was part of their process as actors and it was essential for their roles. The younger actor shared that it was just a few times when he and Dennis had their conversation on the set. They would just greet each other in the morning when they arrive on the set but after that, nothing more.
“I guess it’s our process. Kasi parang the whole time na nasa set ako, nagme-meditate ako kasi mas gusto ko mas maging present ako sa eksena because karamihan ng mga eksena ko, hindi ako nagsasalita,” Ruru shared, adding that mostly, he would just show his character’s nuances.

Most of his scenes showcased the “mata-mata” acting. Ruru also said that most of the time Dennis was also just quiet. The younger actor shared that the Drama King would just prepare for the take, face the mirror to fix his hair, and then, he would embody his character that easily.
“Mag-uusap lang kami or parang magkakaroon lang kami ng interaction once nasa eksena na kami. Pero bago po ‘yun, never kaming nag-small talk,” Ruru said.
However, Ruru Madrid shared that even though he and Dennis were not having those long conversations on the set, their working dynamic was good.
