How true is it that Bullet Jalosjos wants to be part of Eat Bulaga?
Rumor has it that TAPE Inc. chief finance officer Bullet Jalosjos will use the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga for his plan to run for senator next elections.
Bullet is currently serving as Mayor of Dapitan. When Tony Tuviera stepped, allegedly was ordered to step down, as TAPE CEO, the children of former congressman Romy Jalosjos took over the managerial positions in the production company behind the Kapuso noontime show.
Amid the rumored conflict between the show’s talents and production team and the management, Bullet appeared on Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk. This did not sit well with former Senate President Tito Sotto, and his fellow veteran hosts Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon who started Eat Bulaga.
Following the decision of TVJ, other hosts, and staff to resign from TAPE, the camp of Jalosjos also released a statement. The production company said that it is saddened by what happened but declared that a new show will be released.
In a recent article by entertainment writer Jun Nardo in Pang-Masa, Bullet Jalosjos aims to appear in the noontime show. Eat Bulaga has been known for giving cash prizes to people outside the studio.
Allegedly, Jalosjos wanted to use this concept and make it a way to develop his popularity. Rumor has it that he is aspiring to run for senator.
Nardo said that according to rumors, one of the changes in the Kapuso noontime show is the hosts will give money to people in the streets but suddenly, someone will appear riding on a motorcycle and allegedly that would be Bullet.
“Parang super hero ang dating ng rider! Ang bali-balita, balak daw umanong tumakbo bilang senador ni Mayor Bullet sa election! O, tsismis lang ‘yan, huh! Abangers na lang tayo sa mangyayari,” Jun Nardo wrote in his article.
