This is what Paolo Contis said when he was asked when he will get engaged.
PAOLO CONTIS – Kapuso actor Paolo Contis was interviewed by Ogie Diaz and he was asked when his own engagement will happen.
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis is a bit controversial due to several issues about his love life. The relationship he had with LJ Reyes had a highly-publicized split. Years after, Reyes is now engaged to a non-showbiz guy named Philip Evangelista.
Meanwhile, months after confirming his separation from Reyes, Contis confirmed his relationship with Yen Santos. She is his leading lady in a movie and the woman who is allegedly the third party in his previous relationship.
In a new interview, he was asked about when his own engagement will be and he has this reaction.
To recall, in a previous article, he aspires to be married one day but before this day, he wanted to fix everything in his life. He wanted to settle his relationship with other people and he wanted to settle his relationship with his kids.
“Sa edad ko, hindi na ‘yun puwedeng pabayaan at this time. Regardless, kung ano mangyari, it has to be fixed for me to become a whole person. Feeling ko only that time ako magiging fully ready [magpakasal],” he expressed.
After talking about his stand on this matter in his life, in an interview with Ogie Diaz he was asked when will his engagement be following his ex’s engagement.
“Kailan naman natin mababalitaan na si Pao ay engaged na rin?” Ogie asked Paolo. But instead of answering directly, he has this evading answer, “Tumutuloy-tuloy ka ha… Nananahimik ako.”
In the same interview, Paolo stressed that the following steps he will be making in his life will be done privately. He’s always been vocal about how private he is as a person despite his celebrity status. And with all his issues, he doesn’t feel like explaining to the public as they do not know the real story.
