PAGASA Says LPA’s Trough to Affect PH Weather
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the trough of a low-pressure area will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over some parts of the country.
On Saturday (March 5, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The LPA’s trough will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) will be affecting the eastern section of Mindanao. It will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region.
Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are expected in these areas.
The LPA’s extension will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon. rest of Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience same weather condition due to the easterlies.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to experience similar weather condition due to the localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are expected during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
