Ritz Azul and her husband went through this challenging chapter
Actress Ritz Azul opened up about her two pregnancy losses before she welcomed her first child with her husband, Allan Guy.
The couple tied the knot in November 2021 in Baguio City. Then, they held their second wedding in Palawan in December of the same year.
In January 2026, they shared a gender reveal video, and through that, they announced that they were expecting a baby after four years of trying. Last month, Ritz and Allan welcomed their baby, whom they fondly call Zie.
In a recent Instagram post, Ritz Azul shared the journey that she and Allan Guy went through before welcoming their baby.
They had to endure two pregnancy heartbreaks, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment.
“Di ako nakapag-post ng details ng pregnancy namin kasi feeling ko nung time na yun uncertain lahat. Para sa mga nagtatanong, heto po yung story namin. Year 2024 nagka-miscarriage kami. Early stage of pregnancy. Mid 2025, ectopic. Nagmelt siya on its own, no need ng surgery. Late 2025, nag-positive ulit and ito na sya,” the actress shared.
Because of this, it was difficult for them to celebrate when they received another positive pregnancy test. “Nung nagpositive ulit, unsure kami. Di kami makapag-celebrate unlike yung unang positive test,” she shared.
Ritz also shared that when the third pregnancy happened, they were nervous that they would lose it again, but they clung to their faith, trusting that what would happen was the best for them.
Their prayers were heard as the third pregnancy became successful, and they are grateful for this.
“Ang dami naming pinagpapasalamat sa Diyos. Isa doon ay kahit na high risk pregnancy, nakapag-normal delivery pa rin, sa tulong at awa Niya,” Ritz Azul said.
With all that they went through, the actress shared a message of faith. “Hindi natin hawak lahat ng bagay. Wala tayong control sa lahat. Aside from ginagawa natin ang best natin, maganda rin na mag-pray at maging panatag na mangyayari ang mabuti para sa’tin.” she wrote.
