Nationwide Job Fair Set on Independence Day (June 12, 2026), DOLE Says
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) prepares to hold a nationwide job fair in celebration of Independence Day on June 12, 2026.
The large-scale hiring event is expected to provide more than 95,000 job opportunities across different parts of the country. The program aims to help unemployed and underemployed Filipinos connect with employers and find work opportunities closer to their communities.
According to DOLE, a total of 95,240 job vacancies are currently available through the program. Around 1,181 local and overseas employers are expected to participate in the simultaneous job fairs, which will be held in 55 locations nationwide.
Officials also noted that the number of available jobs and participating employers may continue to increase as the event approaches.
Many of the openings come from industries such as retail, manufacturing, construction, business process outsourcing (BPO), accommodation, and food services. Among the most in-demand positions are sales clerks, store crew members, production operators, construction workers, call center representatives, and service crew workers.
Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino encouraged job seekers to take advantage of the opportunity and explore the wide range of available positions. The job fairs are part of the government’s continuing effort to expand access to decent employment and help more Filipinos re-enter the workforce.
Aside from job matching, applicants will also have access to several government services in one location. Participating agencies will provide onsite processing of important employment documents, making it easier for job seekers to complete their requirements.
Training and career development opportunities will also be available during the event. The government plans to offer skills training, training schedules, micro-credential programs, and guidance on available government positions and eligibility requirements.
DOLE advised applicants to bring multiple copies of their resumes and other necessary documents to speed up the application process. Some employers may even conduct interviews and hiring activities on the spot.
