Coco Martin received negative reactions because of the trailer for his new series
Kapamilya primetime action king Coco Martin showed action-packed scenes in the trailer of his new series Sigabo with his longtime partner, prime actress Julia Montes.
After three years, Julia and Coco reunited onscreen, and their fans have been gushing over their partnership, whether in reel or in real life.
In previous interviews for the promotion of their new project together, Coco and Julia had expressed excitement about working with each other again. At some point, they also discussed their relationship and their dynamics onscreen and behind the scenes.

Just recently, Coco Martin’s production company, which is one of the team members behind this project, released the trailer of Sigabo. Just like his two previous teleseryes, Ang Probinsyano and Batang Quiapo, the new series promises action-packed scenes.
This received positive comments and messages of excitement from fans of the Kapamilya actor. However, a netizen who shared screenshots of the trailer said that this is “AI Slop.”

Charity Excellence’s website describes “AI Slop” as “A wave of mass-produced AI-generated content that is beginning to flood blogs, social media, and search results. It’s low-quality content, which might not be harmful but is of little value. It can be text, images, video, and even entire websites.”
Netizen @MaizeCrasher shared these screenshots under FilmClubPH on Reddit with the title, “Sigabo Trailer AI slop.” In the caption, the netizen wrote that the local stuntman and creative director were disregarded, and what was done was just to type a prompt.
“What is happening to Coco Martin and ABS-CBN [crying emoji],” the netizen added. In the comment section of the post, many Redditors agreed with the netizen who opened up about this.

For most of them, it was condemnable that the upcoming series featuring Coco Martin and Julia Montes used AI for action scenes, while some lamented the fact that artists are slowly losing their place because of this technology. Here are some comments.
