However, former governor and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was a no-show. He insisted based on a previous article that the multi-awarded Kapuso broadcaster is “biased”. The presidential interviews went on and the questions showed extensive research about each candidate and their respective issues. According to Nielsen Philippines TV Audience Measurement, the airing of the presidential interviews registered 16.2% TV rating leaving counterparts on TV5 (Sing Galing Sing-Lebrity Edition, Rated Korina, Kagat ng Dilim) and A2Z (TV Patrol Weekend, Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10, Maalaala Mo Kaya) at 2.1 percent and 1.3 percent registers, respectively.

In the online platforms, just minutes after airing, it instantly dominated Twitter’s trending topics both in the Philippines and worldwide and it generated over 290,000 tweets. On Facebook, it earned over 4.1 million engagements, and the live streams in several GMA channels got over 3.6 million views. Also, on YouTube GMA News and Public Affairs’ channel reached 230,000 viewers as its peak concurrent views and the full coverage uploaded on their channel now has over five million views in just a span of three days.
