Cristine Reyes and Gio Tingson have started their wedding preparations
Actress Cristine Reyes shares a glimpse of her wedding preparations with her future husband Gio Tingson.
The couple announced last May that they were engaged, but they haven’t shared any details yet about the wedding preparations. Cristine shared a post about this on her social media page, which garnered sweet messages from well-wishers.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the actress didn’t give many details when she was asked about the wedding plans she and her fiancé, Atty. Gio Tingson, are making.
It appeared that her sister Ara Mina was the only one who was excited for her. “Baka mas excited pa siya, iyun kasi ano siya, gusto niya talaga big wedding. Mas nagpa-follow up po siya sa akin, more than me planning it,” Cristine Reyes said.
Back in June, Ara expressed in an interview the happiness that she has for her younger sister, as she is set to embark on the next chapter of her life.
When Cristine was asked about their wedding preparations, the actress said that she and Atty. Gio are sharing the tasks.
“Actually, nagpapasahan po kami ni Gio kung sinong mag-aayos, to be honest. Pero ang sa akin lang, oo, ako na lang bahala sa kunyari yung wedding gown, mga ganun. Kung yung mga babaeng stuff. Pero siguro yung mga simbahan, ano pa ba… yung mga iba, sa kanya na. Kasi parang feeling ko, we’re mature enough naman na alam na namin kung ano yung gusto namin,” Cristine shared.
They haven’t worked out the specific details of the kind of wedding they want yet. They haven’t decided on a date either. The actress shared that if they can’t manage it this year, maybe next year, as they don’t have an exact date yet. However, they hope this will happen this year or early next year.
When asked if this would be her dream wedding, Cristine said that it is. She also said they are opting for a simple wedding and don’t want it to be extravagant.
“It doesn’t really have to be extravagant, dahil we know what we want already. And I think it’s just for formality and you know… yun lang po,” the actress said.
For Cristine Reyes, Atty. Gio is the right man she has long been waiting for. “That’s exactly it… I feel like he is the person I’ve been waiting for. It’s better to just leave it at that,” she said.
