Vice Ganda has this call for the youth
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda delivered a bold and fearless message during the opening ceremony of UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) Season 89 last Saturday,
The event was hosted by Far Eastern University (FEU), the TV host-comedian’s alma mater. Vice headlined the star-studded kickoff with show-stopping production numbers.
The Kapamilya star reminisced about the time when he was just an ordinary student at FEU during his speech, based on the article in Abante.

“I am Vice Ganda, a proud Tamaraw!
He also emphasized that at that university, he experienced being free. FEU allowed me to be free.. free to be myself… free to be unapologetically super gay… free to love… free to fight… and most importantly, free to win,” he shared.
Following the emphasis that he made, Vice boldly challenged the entire UAAP community, particularly Gen Z, to vote wisely in the upcoming election and to stop electing those who steal public funds.
He stressed that it is very important that people exist in an environment that allows everyone to win. Vice Ganda stressed.
He continued with his bold challenge to Gen Zs to fight, show up, and win no matter what. It was revealed that performing at the said sports event was a dream come true for the Unkabogable Star.
He enthused that doing this has been his fantasy. Back then, whenever there were cheer dance competitions, he would ask if there could be a guest celebrity performer and he would be wilingly join the event as being part of something like that was his dream. “It was my gift for FEU,” Vice said.

Regarding the powerful message he delivered to the youth, Vice Ganda said that he felt like it was the perfect moment to do it. He was in a perfect setting, with a perfect audience and listeners.
With this, he didn’t want to waste the opportunity. Since he was a Political Science student, he wanted to give them a glimpse of what he had learned at FEU.
