Marian Rivera wants to do this kind of project with Dingdong Dantes
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera admitted that for a change, she would like to play the antagonist to her husband, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, rather than his leading lady.
Dingdong and Marian, known as the DongYan tandem, have done a lot of projects together. They first work together in the series Marimar in 2007. Their tandem received positive feedback and this was followed by another hit project, the teleserye remake of Dyesebel in 2008.
The following year, the couple did the Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang, which was a dark, romantic thriller series directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal, adaptation of a Carlo J. Caparas comic novel.

This was followed by their adaptation of the hit Korean drama series Autumn in My Heart in 2010. With these projects, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes proved their onscreen chemistry, which eventually became a real-life romance.
In an interview, based on the article in Abante, the actress was asked if she would be interested in making a guest appearance on “Master Cutter,” the TV series starring her husband, that is currently airing on GMA’s primetime slot.
Marian stated that she is willing, but the role she is requesting is that of an adversary or enemy to Dingdong’s character.
“Why not? Pero sabi ko sa kanya, given a chance kung magge-guest ako, ayokong kakampi, gusto ko kalaban. ‘Di ba? For a change,” Marian responded.

That’s actually a great idea. It would be exciting to see Dingdong and Marian face off as adversaries. This is something new for their fans, who have been following their career together and individually.
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting “Remember,” the new reunion movie starring the “DongYan” couple, following the success of “Rewind” in 2023. It will be recalled that last July, the couple flew to Quebec, Canada, to shoot the new film, which is reportedly set for release this November.
