Police Caught on Camera Punching and Pulling the Hair of Motorist Who Breached Checkpoint
The video footage of a police who punched and pulled the hair of a motorist who did not stop at checkpoint elicit comments online.
Over the past few months, the police authorities are strictly implementing quarantine checkpoints to monitor the residents. The measure aims to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease.
The Facebook page “Taga Leyte Ine” has shared the video footage of a policeman who allegedly punched and pulled the hair of a motorist who reportedly breached a checkpoint. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the video, it can be see that the cop is pulling the hair of the motorcycle rider during the apprehension. The police officer also slightly punched the young man on his stomach because of his violation.
However, it was still unclear why the rider breached the checkpoint but explained that he would just his passenger to its point of destination. Wao Police is not yet giving any statement regarding the incident.
