Female Netizen Criticizes Tricycle Driver for Allegedly Having Bad Intentions Toward Her
A female netizen shared her experience with a tricycle driver whom she believed had inappropriate intentions toward her.
Recently, Thea Parreño Dequiña, a Facebook user, posted about her unpleasant encounter with the tricycle driver. The post quickly went viral and elicited various reactions from the online community.
According to Dequiña, the incident happened at around 5:50 p.m. after she had just finished work. She boarded a tricycle to return to her apartment near Filamer and a nearby convenience store.

At first, the driver appeared friendly and started a casual conversation. The woman initially thought nothing of it since many drivers often engage passengers in small talk during trips.
However, her concern grew when she noticed that the tricycle was no longer following the usual route to her destination.
Instead of heading toward her apartment, the driver allegedly took a road leading to another area. She immediately pointed out that they were going the wrong way. The driver apologized and claimed it was a mistake before returning to the correct route.

Despite correcting the route, the driver reportedly continued asking personal questions, including where she lived, where she worked, and details about her personal life. As the trip continued, she became increasingly uncomfortable.
Thea allegedly continued asking for her social media information even after she declined several times.
Feeling unsafe, the woman decided not to be dropped off directly at her apartment. Instead, she got off near a convenience store and remained there for about 20 minutes to make sure the driver had already left the area.
Dequiña shared her story to encourage fellow commuters to remain vigilant, trust their instincts, and prioritize their safety whenever they feel uncomfortable during a trip.
