Yassi Pressman and Luigi Villafuerte are ready to take their relationship to the next level
Actress Yassi Pressman and Camarines Sur 2nd District Representative Luigi Villafuerte announced their engagement.
Yassi’s love life, as what the showbiz enthusiasts know, is quite colorful. She and Luigi were first linked to each other in 2023. Their sweet photos and videos circulated online.
Eventually, their relationship was confirmed. At times, the actress was seen with the Congressman attending political events. Yassi was even present when Luigi filed his certificate of candidacy in the last elections and during his oathtaking. There were also instances when Luigi would accompany Yassi to her showbiz engagements.
In 2025, rumors surfaced that Yassi Pressman and Luigi Villafuerte were already married. However, in an interview, the actress denied this, saying that they were not taking everything in a rush.
In the same interview that being with Luigi indeed makes her happy. She even said that her relationship with Luigi is the best she ever has.
In an Instagram post on July 18, Luigi and Yassi shared a joint engagement announcement. “Our greatest adventure,” the caption of the post stated.
In the comment section of the post, the newly engaged couple recevied congratulatory messages from their friends, and ttheir supporters. Several celebrities wrote their “congratulations” comments as well.
As of this writing, the couple has not yet shared further details of their engagement and about their wedding plans.
Meanwhile, this was not the first time that Yassi Pressman got engaged. To recall, in 2023, Yassi’s breakup rumors with her ex-boyfriend Jon Semira circulated online. Amid the breakup issue, Yassi and Jon’s engagement video surfaced.
Later on, the actress confirmed that she broke off her engagement with Jon. Back then, Jon was accused of having an affair, but he denied the third party rumor.
