The police authorities caught several residents hiding liquors inside of a coffin amid liquor ban as a part of the lockdown protocols.

The police authorities together with the frontliners are strictly implementing the quarantine orders to contain the rapid spread of the coronavirus outbreak in the country. The lockdown protocols also include the liquor ban.

Recently, a Facebook user named Ronald Allan Sison has shared the photos of a funeral vehicle carrying a coffin containing alcoholic beverages inside. The photos garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the photos, it can be seen that the joint operatives of NBI and PNP Binmaley haltered a funeral vehicle to conduct an inspection. Unfortunately, the cops found several boxes of liquors “Ginebra San Miguel” inside the coffin.

The police authorities discovered that the funeral car is driven by a certain Jeffrey Velasco of the Abalos Funeral Service. The vehicle has been apprehended at Brgy. Biec, Binmaley, Pangasinan.

Joint operatives of NBI & PNP Binmaley flagged down a funeral car owned by Abalos Funeral Service driven by a certain Jeffrey Velasco of Brgy. Talibaew, Calasiao this morning at Brgy. Biec, Binmaley, Pangasinan. It was discovered that the car with one coffin was carrying several boxes of GIN to be delivered to their patrons.
