Controversial Photo of Massive Amount of People Gathered During Cash Aid Distribution in Bulacan Elicits Comments Online
A massive amount of people reportedly gathered during the distribution of social amelioration cash aid in Minuyan, Bulacan.
The Philippine government is already distributing the social amelioration cash fund to the poor Filipino families in the country. The financial aid aims to help the Filipinos whose jobs were affected by the quarantine orders.
The local government units have been very busy handing out the cash assistance but it should be done with social distancing measures. Unfortunately, there are many reports showing people neglecting social distancing measures during SAP distribution.
A Facebook user named Jennel Rona Caguioa has shared the photo of huge number of people queuing along the street during the alleged distribution of cash assistance for poor families. The photo garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photo, it can be seen that numerous people are gathering while waiting for the distribution of P6,500 cash assistance. Caguioa said that the photo was taken at Minuyan in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
