Last February 5, the House of Representatives impeached Vice Pres. Duterte. More than 2/3 of the lawmakers in the lower chamber signed the impeachment of the Vice President. Presidential son and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos is one of those who signed the impeachment raps of Duterte.

Prosecutor General Richard Fadullon confirmed the claim of the Vice President. Based on a report on GMA News, she expressed that she will appear at the Department of Justice.

“Nagkausap na kami ng aking abogado with regard to sa counter-affidavit, tinatapos na lang namin. Mag-appear ako dahil kailangan ko mag-oath,” she said.

Based on the report, Fadullon expressed that the schedule for the preliminary investigation on the complaint is set on May 9 and May 16. With regards to her impeachment trial, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said her lawyers are confident to win the impeachment trial.
