Concerned Netizen Calls for Action Over Damaged Road in Bocaue as School Opening Nears
A concerned netizen has called on the local government of Bocaue regarding the poor condition of a road filled with potholes, as the opening of the school year draws near.
Recently, Ser Ygan, a Facebook user, shared his concern about the damaged road in their area, saying that it was not repaired even during the long school vacation. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions online.
Ygan raised several concerns about the slow progress of the road project. He questioned why the two-month school vacation was not used to speed up repairs and why traffic rules such as truck restrictions do not seem to be strictly enforced.

The netizen also pointed out that only a few workers appear to be actively working on the project, leading to further delays.
Another concern he mentioned was the lack of clear updates from authorities regarding the timeline of the road repairs. According to him, the project has already been ongoing for almost a year, yet residents still do not know when it will be completed.
The situation has become more difficult as the rainy season continues. The road is now filled with mud and deep potholes, making travel slower and more dangerous for motorists. Several incidents of vehicles slipping or getting stuck have already been reported, raising safety concerns for both drivers and passengers.

With classes set to resume on Monday, the netizen warned that the road conditions will once again affect students, workers, and commuters who rely on the route every day. The expected increase in traffic is likely to make the situation even worse.
He ended his appeal by urging local officials to take immediate action and provide clear updates on the project’s progress. For many residents, the hope is simple: a safe and passable road that will ease their daily travel struggles.
