Typhoon Paeng Death Toll: NDRRMC’s Latest Update Shows Continuous Increase

TYPHOON PAENG DEATH TOLL – The National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) released the latest update on the deaths during the onslaught of Typhoon Paeng.

Several homes were severaly damaged by Typhoon Paeng. The tropical storm brought heavy rains and strong winds in different cities and municipalities across the nation. Currently several regions are under a state of calamity due to Paeng. Deaths were also recorded amid the onslaught of the severe tropical storm. Recently, the NDRRMC released an update regarding the death toll. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, it has climbed to 156. Currently, 6,141 have been injured amid the wrath of Paeng. The damaged to infrastructure is recorded at P4.3 billion. Thirty-seven (37) individuals remain missing.

PAENG PH – Severe Tropical Storm Paeng has caused flooding and landslides over various parts of the country.

On Saturday (October 29, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has released the latest weather update in the country, Severe Tropical Storm Paeng affects the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Paeng has been last spotted over the coastal waters of San Juan, Batangas with maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph. It was moving 15 kph at a West northwestward direction.

The weather disturbance make a landfall over Quezon Province. The power company in the province has shut down the electricity to ensure the safety of the residents. Paeng uprooted trees and damaged houses.
