PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (October 26, 2022)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area East of Visayas has developed into a tropical depression.
On Wednesday (October 26, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. A low-pressure area will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area has been last spotted 1,010 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas. The LPA may become a tropical depression this afternoon and will be named Paeng.
“Base nga sa ating datos, makikita natin na posible po na maging isang bagyo o tropical depression itong low pressure area ngayong araw, at sakali nga pong maging bagyo ito, magiging pangalan niya ay Paeng,” Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said.
The LPA will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Mindoro Provinces, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The northeast monsoon will bring similar weather conditions over Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora.
Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
The weather agency has raised a gale warning over the northern Luzon seaboard (Batanes, Cagayan and the Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur), as well as the eastern seaboards of central and southern Luzon.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon, and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
