Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Makes Cryptic Post about Sen. Bato dela Rosa

HARRY ROQUE – The former presidential Spokesman claimed that there is someone who allegedly betrayed Senator Bato dela Rosa.

Recently, there has been rumors that Sen. Bato dela Rosa has allegedly been arrested. The former Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief turned Senator is faced with an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Dela Rosa was in hiding for six (6) months before his recent appearance in the Senate in May 2026. However, shortly after he appeared in the chamber and be part of those who pushed for a change in the Senate leadership, he disappeared again.

The lawyer of Sen. Bato dela Rosa claimed that he allegedly does not know the whereabouts of the Senator. According to Atty. Israelito Torreon, he believes that Dela Rosa is still in the Philippines. He made the remarks amid the current circulating rumors that the Senator has allegedly been arrested.

Sen. Bato dela Rosa is tagged as one of the alleged co-perpetrators in the war on drugs of the Duterte administration. Currently, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is detained under the custody of the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands for more than a year now.

The lawyer of Sen. Bato dela Rosa claimed that the Senator is allegedly willing to file a case as long as it is filed in a Philippine Court. Recently, amid the rumored arrest of the Senator, former presidential spokesman Harry Roque made a cryptic post on social media.

According to Atty. Harry Roque, someone allegedly betrayed Sen. Bato dela Rosa. He did not cite a name.

“Meron nga daw na nang-hudas kay Bato,” Roque wrote in his post.

Atty. Harry Roque is out of the country for closely two (2) years now. He is faced with accusations and an arrest warrant over his alleged involved in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the country.

Amid the rumors, another known Duterte-ally, Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, warned the Filipinos that “bad news is coming”.
