Severe Tropical Storm Paeng Causes Floods Over Various Parts of Country on Saturday (October 29, 2022)
PAENG PH – Severe Tropical Storm Paeng has caused flooding and landslides over various parts of the country.
On Saturday (October 29, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has released the latest weather update in the country, Severe Tropical Storm Paeng affects the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that Paeng has been last spotted over the coastal waters of San Juan, Batangas with maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph. It was moving 15 kph at a West northwestward direction.

Paeng lashes the country with strong winds and heavy to incessant rains over most parts of the country. The severe tropical storm brings massive flooding and landslides in several provinces.
The weather disturbance make a landfall over Quezon Province. The power company in the province has shut down the electricity to ensure the safety of the residents. Paeng uprooted trees and damaged houses.
The town of Lopez, Calauag, Gumaca and Bondoc Peninsula in Quezon Province were submerged in floodwaters.huge waves also hit the town of Calauag, Lopez, Gumaca, Plaridel and Atimonan.
The severe tropical storm has also hampered the motorists passing through the National Road in Muntinlupa City on Saturday. Metro Manila.
