PAGASA Says PH to Expect Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Due to Amihan and ITCZ

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon and Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring cloudy to rainy condition over parts of the Philippines.

On Thursday (November 25, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration releases the latest weather update in the country. The Amihan and ITCZ would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Mindanao.

The Amihan would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms over Northern Samar, Mindanao, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Palawan, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon

Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque Romblon, Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, rest of Luzon and Visayas.

The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms due to the localized thunderstorms and ITCZ.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over northern, central Luzon, the rest of Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to rough. Mindanao region will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
