PAGASA Says Amihan & Easterlies to Bring Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Over Parts of PH

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon and easterlies will bring cloudy to rainy skies over some parts of the country.

On Tuesday (November 23, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeast monsoon and easterlies would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon would bring cloudy weather condition with light rains are expected over Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Cagayan and Isabela due to the northeast monsoon.

The amihan will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country. Partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers over entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon, Metro Manila as well as the rest of the country are expected to experience similar weather condition.

The weather agency has also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over northern and central Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
