Renowned Filipino fashion designer Michael Leyva shared a message via an Instagram post, accompanied by behind-the-scenes photos with the “Queen of All Media” and his close friend, Kris Aquino.
A newly released Netflix Philippines video serves as the official entertainment comeback for the actress-host.
The streaming platform announced Kris Aquino’s return to the media for a three-episode campaign, taking on the role of Chief Head of Insights and Content Analysis (C.H.I.K.A.).
Despite the physical challenge she faced because of her illness, Kris, as always, showed professionalism, which she is now passing to her son, Bimby Aquino, as a guest co-host on the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Her reappearance in the media spotlight brought great joy to the showbiz world and netizens alike, despite her ongoing battle with nine autoimmune conditions.
The renowned fashion designer could not hide her immense happiness at reuniting with Kris; for her, this moment was the answer to her long-standing prayers.
The designer also expressed his continued hope for the actress-host’s recovery and for a reunion, as they consider each other family, in the industry they both love.
He wishes to see the actress-host vibrant and active once again in the field she holds so dear.
“I specifically prayed to God for this day to come. I have always hoped for you to stay healthy and to be able to come back to doing what you love the most,” Michael shared.
Despite life’s challenges and changes, their friendship and bond remain steadfast. He conveyed a heartfelt pledge of loyalty and support to Kris.
The conclusion of his message became emotional as he saw Kris once again wearing one of his creations. His love and admiration for the person he considers an older sister in the industry were overflowing.
