On his birthday, Dani and Julia Barretto remember their Pikey and here’s what they wrote for him.
JULIA BARRETTO – Barretto sisters Dani and Julia pen sweet posts for their late grandfather Miguel Barretto remembering him on his birthday.
Last October 2019, Miguel Barretto died after staying in the hospital for several days. He is the father of celebrity sisters Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine – the famous Barretto siblings. He was 82 when he died due to acute respiratory failure.
Marjorie, one of Miguel’s daughters, has two daughters who remembered their Pikey on his birthday. Despite being gone, they never did forget their Pikey. They grow up very close to him and they are definitely devastated when he went away roughly two years ago.
On Instagram, Julia wrote this as he remembered him on his birthday, “Happy birthday 9/29, my angel I miss you terribly..”
She call him her 9/29 and when he died, she expressed that the pain she felt was incomparable.
Dani, on the other hand, who is also closest to their Pikey, aired that there was never a time she has forgotten him. She expressed that she is missing his smile, his laugh, and his corny jokes. She added, “In my mind, you’re here with us in the dining table eating ice cream. Hope you’re having the best birthday in heaven!”
Meanwhile, what’s remarkable during the wake of their grandfather was the scene that has transpired when Gretchen visited. Bong Go, who was at the scene when it happened along with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, said that what happened is something like shooting for a drama. Gretchen Barretto, on the other hand, said that her sister had a nervous breakdown. She was accordingly not happy with her presence when she was only there to reunite with her family.
