Video of Pres. Duterte Arriving at Wake of Claudine Barretto’s Father
DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte paid respect to actress Claudine Barretto’s father, Miguel Barretto.
Last October 15, a sad news crossed the surface – Claudine Barretto’s father died. It was roughly two (2) weeks ago when Miguel Barretto was rushed to the hospital by his family for being very ill.
Miguel’s daughter Marjorie Barretto shared that they were having a celebration when he fell ill. It was his birthday celebration at the house of the former actress and their family and friends gathered.
However, according to Marjorie, after Miguel was able to blow his cake candles, he took a nap and it was followed by him being very ill. They brought him to the hospital and for several days, he was confined at St. Luke’s Medical Center.
On Tuesday, Miguel Barretto passed away. On her Instagram account, Claudine Barretto posted a video taken at the hospital. Their family and friends gathered at the bedside of her father.
Currently, the wake of Claudine Barretto’s father is being held. Several celebrities and important personalities came to pay respect. One of them is Pres. Duterte.
The President visited the wake together with Senator Christopher “Bong” Go and President Spokesperson Salvador Panelo. Claudine welcomed them at the entrance.
On her Instagram account, Claudine Barretto expressed her gratitude to Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte for paying respect to her late father. Here’s the video posted by the actress:
