Is it true that there is a rift between Rochelle Pangilinan and Jopay Paguia?
There have long been rumors of bad blood between S*xbomb members Rochelle Pangilinan and Jopay Paguia.
Speculations suggested that this was the reason why Jopay was absent from the group’s new music video for their latest single, “Mama Mama.”
Rochelle spoke about her rumored rift with Jopay a recent interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” this Wednesday, September 16, based on the article in Bandera.
The Kapuso actress-dancer admitted that misunderstandings do occur within their group, just like a family facing various challenges.
Before asking about Jopay and Sunshine Garcia’s absence from the “Mama Mama” music video, King of Talk Boy Abunda first asked for Rochelle’s permission to bring up the topic.
“Bakit sila hindi kasali sa music video and of course, hindi maiwasan itong pabulong na pinag-uusapan na diumano’y meron kayong hindi pagkakaunawaan ni Jopay. From the bottom of my heart, you may or you may not answer,” Tito Boy said.
Rochelle Pangilinan opted to address the issue. “Hindi ko naman talaga ikakaila sa isang pamilya, sa mga magkakaibigan, nagkakaroon talaga yan ng hindi pagkakaunawan. Like, nakadepende pa rin yan kung paano maging maayos. Case-to-case basis. Kung gustong maging maayos ng isa, magiging maayos talaga, e,” she shared.
She also said that she would always tell Jopay and the other girls that they should always keep the big picture in mind. And that they should have just one goal. Rochelle asked all of them what they wanted, and if it was longevity, then this was the certain path that they should take.
“Kung gusto n’yo na maging lider ako, e, kailangan rumespeto tayo. Kailangan magkaroon tayo ng respeto sa isa’t isa,” Rochelle stressed.
The Kapuso actress also reminded the girls that they should have work ethic and discipline. “Maraming kailangang gawin na mapagkakasunduan ng bawat isa,” she added.
Rochelle also explained that their group should be like a boat and they should paddle towards the same direction. If other members would not listen to her, this would not work out.
“Mahihirapan tayo du’n, hindi natin alam kung saan tayo pupunta. Tinanong ko sila, ‘Ano bang gusto ninyo? Longevity or marami pang work? Kasi kung ayaw ninyo na, I’m good, then stop,'” Rcchelle Pangilinan stressed.
The Kapuso star also pointed out that they already created a legacy and they are not like children who would fight against each other. Then, this would create rumors, and people will feast on speculating about what is happening.
“Hindi na siya maganda para sa edad natin. So kailangan lang, isa lang tayo ng goal. Kung ayaw mo na, we’re good. Just say it,” she said.
