PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (August 28)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines is expected to experience a fair weather condition.

On Saturday (August 28, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Fair weather is expected during this weekend.

PAGASA reported that the country would have a fair weather condition within the next three days. No weather disturbances are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility over the next few days.

“Sa kasalukuyan, wala tayong nakikitang namumuong sama ng panahon o LPA na maaaring makaapekto sa ating bansa, kaya’t possibly fair weather condition tayo for the next three days,” weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said.

However, the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers over the eastern section of Luzon including Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring similar weather conditions over Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.

The easterlies or warm winds would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon. Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country would also experience the same weather condition due to the localized thunderstorms.

The weather agency has also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
