Gab Lagman Opens Up About Relationship Rumors With Gazini Ganados
GAB LAGMAN – The actor has addressed the long-running rumors linking him to Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados. The speculation, which first surfaced in 2023, gained attention again after Gab was seen supporting Gazini during the inaugural Miss Grand International All Stars competition in Bangkok, Thailand, in May 2026.
During the media conference for the Viva All Star Games, Gab chose not to directly confirm or deny the rumors. Instead, he emphasized that his current focus is on the upcoming basketball event. He described Gazini as one of his closest friends, saying they have known each other for about nine years. Gab added that he is proud of her achievements and said they are both happy while focusing on their respective careers.
When asked if Gazini had inspired him to join male beauty pageants because of his height and appearance, Gab said he has no plans to enter pageantry. He explained that his priority is his acting career, as he wants to continue improving his skills and take on more challenging roles.
Gab also expressed his excitement for the first-ever Viva All Star Games, set for August 16 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. He shared that basketball has always been his first passion, making the event especially meaningful. He thanked Viva for giving its artists the opportunity to showcase their talent on the court.
According to Gab, the team has been training regularly under Coach Jerry Codiñera while also working with other coaches to improve their individual skills. He said the players are committed to giving fans an exciting and competitive game while building stronger teamwork.
Gab also revealed that playing at the Araneta Coliseum fulfills one of his childhood dreams of experiencing basketball on one of the country’s most iconic courts. When asked if Gazini would attend the event, he avoided giving a direct answer and simply invited everyone to watch the Viva All Star Games and enjoy the competition.
